Privacy Policy

Account information. When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password.

Line data you enter. Machine names, rates, downtime figures, costs, notes, and any lines, scenarios, or reports you choose to save or share. You can use the calculator without an account; in that case nothing is saved to our servers unless you generate a report or share link.

Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We keep your subscription status, plan, and seat count.

Usage information. We record product events such as sign-ups, saved lines, and generated reports, plus privacy-friendly page analytics that do not use advertising cookies.

Messages. If you contact us or submit a bug report, we keep what you send so we can respond.

• To respond to your messages and send essential service emails
• To understand which features are used so we can improve the product
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your line data to train our own AI models.

We use a small number of service providers to run LineIQ. Each only receives what it needs:

• Vercel — hosting, file storage for reports, and page analytics
• Neon — our database
• Stripe — payment processing and billing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• AI model providers, through the Vercel AI Gateway — when you use AI features such as line insights or product parsing, the relevant line figures are sent to generate the response

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of LineIQ and its users.

Share links and generated reports can be opened by anyone who has the link. Only share them with people you trust, and avoid putting confidential information in a line you plan to share.

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. Our analytics do not rely on cookies, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete saved lines at any time from My Lines. To access, correct, export, or delete your account and its data, send us a request through the contact page and we will respond within 30 days.

Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are hashed, and access to your saved data is limited to your account. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of any breach that affects you as required by law.

LineIQ is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 16.
